Mammals

     Would you like to __1__ what my favorite class of vertebrate is? I
hope so, because I’m going to tell you anyway! My favorite class of
vertebrate is the __2__.
     Mammals are very interesting. They are warm-blooded, which means
that they maintain a near constant body __3__. They are the only class
of vertebrate, or any kind of __4__ for that matter, whose females
produce milk to __5__ their young. Mammal babies develop inside the
mother and are __6__ live. All mammals grow hair or fur on their bodies.
     Yes, mammals are my favorite vertebrates. Some of my best friends
are __7__. Now that I __8__ about it, some of my favorite relatives are
mammals too.
