A Story Starter:
. . . The humans had no idea that the little troll village existed. They certainly had no idea that it was practically underfoot. Just yards from the edge of the forest, beneath the tiniest leaves of the tiniest plants, the little community thrived.
. . . The trolls, on the other hand, knew about the humans. Tremor Troll knew that all trolls must avoid the human creatures. Any troll who ventured out into the land of those dangerous giants, was likely to be history! But curiosity is a powerful force, and the young troll wanted to see more of the world.
. . . Tremors parents, Trauma and Travesty Troll, were very good parents. They often discussed matters of safety with their son. They feared that he might do something reckless, and took nothing for granted.
. . . Beware of the humans! Trauma had warned. Your mother and I dont want anything terrible to happen to you!
. . . Travesty would frequently hug Tremor and remind him, Humans are a predatory species! If they ever catch you, theyll eat you. If they dont eat you, theyll put you in a cage and make other humans pay to stare at you.
. . . Tremor Troll sat sipping his slug soda. He thought about what his parents had taught him. Tremor was a good soul. He couldnt believe that all humans were bad. There must be some kind and gentle humans, he told himself. I want to find a young human to be my friend!
