____Patty walked in the door, went directly to the couch, and sat with her head down.

____Patty continued staring at the __4__. I hate school! I hate fourth grade! I hate that new girl, Sandy!

____Well, I extremely dislike her! Everyone thinks shes so __6__. She told my best friend, Faith, that she wouldnt be friends with her unless she stopped being my friend. And now Faith wont even __7__ to me!
____That isnt good, Kathy agreed. Youve got other friends, dont you?
____A few, Patty replied, still trying to hold back __8__, but it hurts to lose your best friend.
____Patty, you didnt lose a friend.
____I just told you, I did!
____Listen, Little Sister. When things are going bad, you dont lose friends, you simply find out who your friends really are.
